The Heart Behind A Healthy Solution Wellness Boutique
People often ask me why I’m so passionate about health and wellness.
The answer isn’t found in a textbook.
It’s found in my journey.
Years ago, after multiple knee surgeries, I found myself relying on prescription medications, including opioids, to manage chronic pain and inflammation. My physician and I both knew that wasn’t the future I wanted.
I decided to take a different path.
I began learning about holistic wellness and incorporated CBD into my routine to help support my pain and inflammation. What started as a search for relief became something much greater—it became a passion for understanding how nutrition, lifestyle, natural wellness, and quality medical care can work together to support the body.
That journey changed my life.
In 2014, I left behind a successful career as a software developer and hardware administrator to follow a calling that had been placed on my heart.
I founded A Healthy Solution Wellness Boutique with one mission:
To educate, inspire, and empower people to take an active role in their health through education, science, natural wellness, and collaboration with their healthcare team.
Helping others has become one of the greatest blessings of my life.
Then, in 2019, my own faith was tested.
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast and adrenal cancer.
I chose to fight with everything I had.
Working alongside my incredible physicians at City of Hope, I completed 11 months of treatment while also using holistic therapies to support my overall wellness throughout the journey.
When I heard the words,
“You’re in remission.”
…it was music to my ears and to my family’s.
That moment reinforced something I have believed ever since:
Never lose hope. Never stop fighting.
In 2020, I underwent double knee replacement surgery.
It gave me back my mobility and reminded me that every challenge can become a new beginning.
From 2022 through 2024, I underwent seven breast reconstructive surgeries.
Each surgery represented another step forward. Healing isn’t always easy, but every obstacle strengthened my faith, my resilience, and my gratitude.
Then came February 2025
The accident left me with multiple injuries to my left leg. I underwent surgery to repair my ankle, tibia, fibula, and multiple crushed bones. Then came the blood clot
Before surgery, I spent three months in a wheelchair.
After surgery, I remained in a wheelchair for another twelve weeks while my leg healed. I never let it define me. I just accepted it and tried to keep moving forward.
It was a very difficult season. I started my peptide journey at that point. Wow was I impressed with the results.
I trusted my surgeons, committed to my rehabilitation, leaned on my faith, and incorporated a peptide and cbd protocol as part of my recovery plan to support healing. I gained over 55 lbs in that chair. With help of peptides and GLP lost over 52.
Getting back on my feet became one of my greatest victories.
In January 2026, I completed my final reconstructive surgery.
Just weeks later, in February 2026, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 liver cancer.
Once again, I had a choice.
I could live in fear…
Or I could move forward with faith.
Today, I continue working closely with my medical team while also following a holistic, non-invasive wellness protocol to support my body.
As of July 2026, I am incredibly grateful that my liver mass is shrinking.
Every milestone reminds me that healing is a journey. It takes courage, perseverance, excellent medical care, healthy choices, and hope.
Today, A Healthy Solution Wellness Boutique is much more than a wellness center.
It is my purpose.
It is a place where people are heard.
Where education comes first.
Where people are empowered to make informed decisions about their health.
Where hope is restored.
I don’t believe our circumstances define us.
I believe how we respond to them does.
Cancer didn’t define me.
The surgeries didn’t define me.
The accident didn’t define me.
My faith defines me.
My purpose defines me.
My commitment to serving others defines me.

To keep fighting…
And to never lose hope…
Then every step of this journey has been worth it.
Because my story isn’t about what happened to me.
It’s about what God has done through me.
