Sciatica is described as pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which runs down one or both legs from the lower back. It is usually caused when a herniated disk or bone spur in the spine presses on the nerve. Pain originates in the spine and radiates down the back of the leg. Sciatica typically affects only one side of the body. Symptoms of Sciatica include difficulty walking, muscle weakness, leg numbness, feeling of pins and needles, burning sensations, or foot numbness. Treatments for Sciatica depend on pain severity. Ice packs and physical therapy are the most common treatments.

However, the more severe the condition is the more treatments are needed. Analgesic, muscle relaxers, steroids, and nerve pain medications are also recommended for those who have a more severe form of Sciatica. Sometimes, an epidural steroid injection is needed to treat Sciatica as well.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non- psychoactive compound derived from the cannabis plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. CBD is an anti-inflammatory, and CBD can reduce swelling and inflammation, thereby reducing pain. Taking CBD triggers your natural endocannabinoid system (ECS) through two types of receptors, CB1 and CB2. It signals your body’s organs and various systems to restore themselves into balance. In this way, it reduces the “over-reaction” of your body which is causing it to trigger pain and inflammation.

Using a topical on the skin directly for short-term, focused relief is one recommended way to help combat Sciatica pain. Another way Sciatica pain can be combated would be by using any other method to ingest CBD on a daily or twice- daily basis to ensure it stays in your bloodstream to do its work almost all the time.

Our AHS 1500-5000mg creams can help with any joint or muscle pain you may be having. A higher milligram cream is recommended for more severe pain. Along with the creams, our AHS full spectrum 3000mg tincture can be taken sublingually twice a day to help with any inflammation within the body. The recommended dose is based off how severe your pain may be.

Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions you may have regarding CBD.

Did you know that 20-40% of dogs seen by veterinarians and behavioral specialists suffer from separation anxiety? The signs are as mild as whining when you leave the house, but they can often be much worse, including crying, barking, chewing, howling, destructive behavior, or accidents in the house.

If a dog is too dependent on people, they can become incredibly anxious and distressed when their owner is away. While it is not always known what causes separation anxiety in dogs, it can be more common in rescue or shelter dogs or in certain breeds (Labs, Shepherds, Chihuahuas, and Spaniels). It can also be set off by specific events.

These events include being left alone for the first time (this is more common with puppies), being left alone after being used to constant companionship, feeling abandoned like they are being left somewhere such as a kennel or boarding class, changing household routine and structure, or the loss of a family member or another pet.

It is crucial to recognize some of the signs, so you know if your dog is struggling with this common issue. Some common signs of separation anxiety are incessant crying, whining, barking, howling, pacing, acting restless, scratching, or digging at doors and windows, destructive behavior, vomiting, peeing, or pooping in the house, chewing, or eating at walls, doors, cabinets, and following you around the house when you come home.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. CBD oil can be given directly using a dropper to put it in your dog’s mouth or drizzled over food. CBD treats are portable and convenient and make it easy to provide your dog with all the benefits of CBD in a tasty snack.

Two products that we carry that are the best recommendation for separation anxiety are our AHS 500mg Pet Tincture as well as our Treatibles CBD pet treats.

The Treatibles come in a variety of flavors. Large treats are for dogs 40lbs and up while the smaller treats are for dogs under 40lbs. Serving sizes are recommended based off your pet’s weight.

Our AHS 500mg Pet Tincture is also a quick and way to help soothe any anxiety your pet may be having.

Always consult your primary care physician (or in this case Veterinary expert) before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions you may have regarding CBD.

Up to 10% of the US population are affected by seizures at some point in their lifetime. A seizure is abnormal electrical activity in the brain that happens quickly. It may go nearly unnoticed. Or, in serious cases, it may cause unconsciousness and convulsions when your body shakes uncontrollably. Seizures come on very suddenly and the seriousness and length of one can vary.

There are two main types of seizures. Within those two types of seizures there are subtypes.

The first kind of seizure is a Generalized Seizure. Generalized Seizures involve your entire brain from the beginning. There are four subtypes for Generalized Seizures. These include: Tonic-clonic (grand mal), Absence seizures(petit mal), Febrile seizures, and Infantile spasms.

The second kind of seizures are Partial (focal) Seizures: There are two subtypes for Partial (focal) Seizures. These include: Focal onset aware seizure and Focal onset impaired awareness seizures.

Symptoms of seizures differ depending on the type of seizure occurring. These symptoms may include: uncontrollable, spastic movements of your body, particularly your arms or legs, stiffening and then loosening of limbs or muscles, loss of consciousness, staring into space, confusion, sudden emotional states that can include a feeling of doom, deja vu, fear, or euphoria, sweating and nausea, involuntary movements of your tongue or mouth, screaming, or crying, rapid blinking, and falling to the ground.

Seizures can happen with no explanation whatsoever, or they can happen due conditions or certain events. Treatments for seizures include medication whose side effects include feeling tired, stomach upset or discomfort, dizziness, or blurred vision. More treatments are surgery, vagus nerve stimulation, responsive nerve stimulation, and deep brain stimulation.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. CBD can help reduce the amount of seizures in children and adults.

CBD is a cannabis component that relieves stress and anxiety and has anti-seizure properties. It does not produce a “high” like another cannabis component called tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Studies have found that on average, convulsive seizures decreased from nearly 13 seizures to about 6 seizures per month with cannabidiol.

Our AHS 3000mg full spectrum tincture can be taken sublingually and is perfect for helping to control seizures. CBD may help in seizure reduction and relief because it works as an anti-convulsant and protects the nervous system.

Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD.

Skin Cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S., and is a broad term describing an abnormal growth of cells that can spread. The areas of the body most affected are those that are exposed to the sun, but skin cancer can develop anywhere on the body. The most common cause of skin cancer is to due sun exposure, more specifically exposure to UVB radiation. This type of radiation comes from not only the sun but also sunlamps and tanning booths. Avoiding exposure to UVB radiation and using sunscreen when you are outdoors may help prevent some skin cancers from forming. There are a few common types of skin cancer that include Basal cell, Squamous Cell and Melanoma. Basal cell skin cancer is a type of skin cancer that begins in the basal cells. Basal cells produce new skin cells as old ones die. This cancer typically appears as a white waxy lump or a brown scaly patch on sun-exposed areas, such as the face and neck. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the skin is the second most common form of skin cancer, characterized by abnormal, accelerated growth of squamous cells. SCCs can appear as scaly red patches, open sores, rough, thickened or wart-like skin, or raised growths with a central depression. The most serious type of skin cancer is called Melanoma. Melanoma happens when the pigment-producing cells that give color to the skin become cancerous. Symptoms of this include new, unusual growth or a change in an existing mole. Treatment for skin cancer includes radiation therapy, chemotherapy, prescribed creams, and in some cases surgery to remove the cancer. Each treatment for skin cancer contains negative side effects that includefatigue, easy bruising and bleeding, infection, nausea, vomiting, anemia, weight changes, and fertility problems. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. When you apply CBD topically, your skin absorbs it. Your skin contains cannabinoid receptors that make CBD a potential therapy for many conditions that range from dry skin to skin cancer. One study showed several cannabinoids including cannabigerol (CBG), non-psychoactive cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabidivarin (CBV) seemed to “switch off” skin cells that grow uncontrollably. Uncontrolled growth of this kind is a factor in skin allergies and skin cancers. In this study, the researchers documented the effects of these three cannabinoids on human skin cell lines. CBD was the most effective of the three in addressing unwanted DNA activity, with CBG coming in second. The researchers in the study claim Phyto cannabinoids such as CBD appear to stop detrimental DNA activity that promotes skin cancer. The Miller Healer 2000mg Tincture can be taken sublingually to help alleviate the symptoms of skin cancer. The Miller Healer 1000mg Salve Stick or Miller Healer 2000mg Cream can be applied topically to help with skin cancer as well. Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new regimen. Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults age 18 and older. According to Gallup & #39;s 2019 data on emotional states, 55% Americans experience stress during the day. Everyone experiences stress and anxiety at one time or another.

The difference between them is that stress is a response to a threat in a situation and anxiety is a reaction to the stress. Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous.

Anxiety is an intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Fast heart rate rapid breathing, sweating, and feeling tired often occur. Treatment for persistent stress and anxiety include psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, and prescribed medications.

Medications used to treat anxiety and stress include Sertraline, Escitalopram, Fluoxetine, Buspirone, Venlafaxine, Duloxetine, Diazepam, Lorazepam, Pregabalin, Alprazolam and Clonazepam. Each prescribed medication contains negative side effects that include dizziness, insomnia, nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, sweating, tremors, sexual problems, headaches, constipation, vison changes, anxiety, weakness, vomiting, depression, hallucinations, aggression and skin rash.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. Studies show that CBD may be effective in alleviating anxiety and could help reduce stress without the negative side effects of prescribed medications. Researchers concluded that endocannabinoids influence
stress and emotion responses because there are cannabinoid receptors in the brain.

Studies currently suggest that CBD counters anxiety by stimulating neurotransmitter systems and neural regeneration. CBD specifically binds to 5-HT1A which is thought to have the strongest role in anxiety disorders. Your body naturally produces cannabinoids, which are used throughout your body and brain in the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).

This system can become dysregulated under chronic stress. However, CBD could help restore balance to the ECS by
preventing overstimulation of your CB1 receptors and by boosting your body’s production of endocannabinoids.

If your anxiety levels are at a & lt;1/5 our AHS 1500mg Tincture can be taken sublingually along with the SoCal 300mg Gummies.

If your anxiety levels are at a & gt;5/10 you can take the Miller Healer 2000mg tincture sublingually along with the Kurativ 1000mg CBD & CBG Gummies.

Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new regimen.

Scars are a normal part of healing, and for most people, they do not cause significant problems. However, for some people scars can have a major impact on their quality of life. Not only may they be painful or itchy, but they can also cause psychological distress.

Scars occur following injury to the skin, whether it be a cut, a burn, or a skin condition such as acne. When the skin breaks, this causes an inflammatory response. The body releases white blood cells, which protect the damaged area from infection. Cell fragments called platelets also travel to the area to help the blood clot.

Once any bleeding has stopped, cells called fibroblasts begin to produce a protein called collagen. It helps to strengthen the wounded area while it heals. Collagen also causes the area to become bumpy or raised. Meanwhile, blood flow to the region increases, causing a red appearance. This is the first stage of scar formation, which can last for several months. Over time, the extra collagen begins to break down, and blood flow returns to normal. At this point, a scar will usually flatten and fade.

The process can take as long as 2–3 years, but scars do not often cause significant problems. However, there are always exceptions. Sometimes, scars can become worse over time. There are many types of scars that include fine-line scars, widespread scars, pitted scars, scar contracture, hypertrophic scars, and keloid scars. Treatment for scars include silicone gel or dressings, pressure dressings, steroid creams, laser treatment, dermabrasion, surgery, and skin camouflage or makeup.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. CBD works by acting upon the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is responsible for regulating a vast range of biological functions.

It is present in most human tissues, including the skin. Here, it plays a role in cell growth and development. It also helps to regulate the inflammatory response. A 2019 study by Toth and colleagues for Molecules suggests that it controls the action of fibroblasts (collagen-producing cells). Therefore, by enhancing activity in the ECS, CBD could potentially aid healing and reduce scar formation.

The authors even suggest that modulating the system’s effects might be “desirable to achieve scar less healing.”A 2016 study by Zurier and Burstein for The FASEB Journal supports this theory. It suggests that cannabinoids like CBD have both anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic properties.

The Miller Healer 1000mg Salve Stick or 2000mg CBD Cream can be applied to the injured area to help in the healing process.

Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD.

Every year, more than 795,000 people in the United States have a stroke and about 87% of all strokes are ischemic. A stroke is a sudden interruption in the blood supply of the brain. There are two different types of strokes, ischemic and hemorrhagic.

An ischemic stroke is caused by an abrupt blockage of arteries leading to the brain and a hemorrhagic stroke is caused by bleeding into brain tissue when a blood vessel bursts. Strokes are characterized by trouble walking, speaking, and understanding, as well as paralysis or numbness of the face, arm, or leg.

Treatment for strokes include prescribed medications and different types of therapy, such as physical therapy, speech therapy and stroke rehabilitation therapy. Medications used to treat strokes include Alteplase, Warfarin, Heparin, Clopidogrel, Apixaban, Atorvastatin, Irbesartan and Lisinopril.

Each prescribed medication contains negative side effects that include abdominal pain, severe menstrual bleeding, brown urine, bloody stool, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, coughing up blood, loss of appetite, headache, insomnia, skin rash, bluish-colored skin, muscle pain, joint pain, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, swelling of the face and body, urinary tract infection and upper respiratory tract infection.

CBD is a non-psychoactive chemical compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. Studies show that CBD may help protect stroke patients from brain damage and even aid recovery by boosting brain function without the negative side effects of prescribed medications.

Research has shown that the brain becomes damaged by increased oxidative stress, inflammation, and excitotoxicity that follows a stroke.Administration of CBD after stroke can potentially help in preventing these three.

CBD is also known for its potential neuroprotective effects, which means administering CBD after a stroke may help in the protection of neurons as well as astrocytes from possible damage.

This leads to enhanced histological, neuro-behavior, biochemical, and functional recovery. Generally, research shows that administration of CBD immediately after strokehas a significant effect on recovery and it limits further damage.

Our AHS 1500mg tincture can be taken sublingually and is perfect for stroke relief and recovery. Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD.

An estimated 8 to 11 percent of the population are affected by spinal stenosis, and it’s most common in baby boomers over 50. Spinal stenosis is a condition that stems from the irregular narrowing of a person’s spine, putting a sense of pressure on the nerves located in the back.

Spinal stenosis is characterized by aggravated pain and inflammation that can lead to numbness and muscle weakness. There are two primary forms of spinal stenosis that exist. Cervical stenosis primarily occurs in the part of the spine in a person’s neck, whereas lumbar stenosis occurs in the portion of the spine near one’s lower back.

Treatment for this condition includes physical therapy, corrective surgery and prescribed medications. Medications used to treat spinal stenosis include Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Gabapentin and Pregabalin. Each prescribed medication contains negative side effects that include abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, bruising, skin rash, ringing in the ears, memory loss, viral infections, tremors and weight gain.

CBD may help alleviate the symptoms of spinal stenosis like pain, inflammation, spasms and anxiety without the negative side effects of prescribed medication. The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a bodily system comprised of endocannabinoids, or neurotransmitters, that are responsible for sending signals to other systems in the body.

When a person experiences a condition that induces chronic states of pain, such as spinal stenosis, the receptor expression in the ECS is altered. The best way to counteract the discomfort and inflammation provoked by spinal stenosis is to influence the levels of endocannabinoids present in one’s ECS.

Our AHS 1500mg tincture can be taken sublingually along with our AHS 2500mg cream that can be applied topically to help reduce the symptoms of spinal stenosis. Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a chemical compound thought to possess therapeutic effects and is often used to help alleviate different types of pain. CBD suppositories are pill-sized and are intended to be inserted into the vagina or rectum to be dissolved.

Research shows that CBD suppositories may help improve a plethora of conditions and ailments. When CBD suppositories are inserted rectally it may improve symptoms of Hemorrhoid inflammation, Irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease and different types of cancer such as rectal, prostate and colon cancer.

When CBD suppositories are inserted vaginally it may improve symptoms of severe period cramps, endometriosis, vaginal dryness, pelvic floor dysfunction and vaginal/cervical cancer. When CBD suppositories are used, they may help improve symptoms locally and are not believed to enter the blood stream.

The pelvic region houses a matrix of nerves that travel to the legs, up the spine, and reaches the colon which contains cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2). Administration of CBD through suppositories may activate the cannabinoid receptors, which could be beneficial for local conditions.

Even if only affective locally rather than systematically, suppositories may offer an alternative to those suffering from conditions that render them unable to ingest CBD orally.

Our AHS 100mg CBD suppositories may help alleviate symptoms of different rectal and vaginal conditions including, different types of cancers. Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD.
