There are many different conditions that can appear throughout our lives. Some of them come naturally as we age, while there are others that can arise from a traumatic event (physically or emotionally). In this article, we will be discussing neuropathy: what it is, what it feels like, and how cbd can help you with your treatment plan.

What is Neuropathy?

Peripheral neuropathy occurs when the nerves that are outside the brain and spinal cord (peripheral nerves) are damaged. This condition often causes weakness, numbness, and pain (usually in the hands and feet). It can also affect other areas and body functions, including digestion and urination. The peripheral nervous system sends info from the brain and spinal cord, also known as the central nervous system, to the rest of the body through motor nerves. The peripheral nerves also send sensory information to the central nervous system through sensory nerves. Peripheral neuropathy can happen when you go through traumatic injuries, infections, metabolic problems, inherited causes, and exposure to toxins. One of the most prevalent causes of neuropathy is diabetes. Most patients with this condition have described the pain as a stabbing, burning, or tingling feeling in the hands or feet. Symptoms can improve on their own, usually if the cause of the condition is treated. There are many medical treatments and medicines that can help reduce the pain from neuropathy. About 2.4% of people globally have a form of peripheral neuropathy. Among people 45 and older, that percentage rises to between 5% and 7%.

Symptoms of neuropathy

Tingling, prickling, or numbness in the hands or feet, the sensation that you’re wearing a glove or sock that’s too tight, sharp pain, a weak or heavy feelings in the arms and legs, increased sensitivity to touch, drop in blood pressure, constipation, digestive issues, sexual dysfunction (particularly in men).

CBD & how it can help

CBD comes from the cannabis or hemp plant; this plant being most commonly known for producing THC. The difference is that with how CBD is extracted from the plant, with that it doesn’t have the part of the plant that can cause a psychoactive effect like THC. CBD as a compound is used for medicinal purposes, generally used for insomnia, pain, inflammation, anxiety, depression, stress, etc. It is legal in most states in the USA (most states require it to be used medicinally), which helps make sure it’s accessible to most people. The most common types of products that CBD is used in are gummies, creams/lotions, capsules, and tinctures (gummies being the most popular). CBD has been used to manage and reduce pain for centuries. CBD binds CB1 and CB2 neuropeptides and thus helps manage and relieve pain and inflammation.

With CBD’s ability to help reduce pain and inflammation in the skin, it’s usually seen as a really helpful alternative to regular pharmaceutical medications. The most recommended way to use CBD for neuropathy would be in a topical or cream form. When using a topical, it’s recommended to use a formula with CBD and CBG together or with Full Spectrum CBD/CBG. This is because CBG can be used for pain symptoms and to relax the body. When two cannabinoids are used together in a product, they help make each other more effective.

Regardless of how you would like to go about your treatment plan, we always recommend speaking to a health care specialist if you feel you have any serious/persistent symptoms.

Since COVID has been around, there has been a lot of concern about long term effects and how that can affect your body. Regardless of if you have gotten the vaccine or not due to personal reasons, everyone can still be prone to the long term effects if they do get infected. So, what can be done if there are long term effects after your initial infection? In this article, we will discuss what the term “long haulers” is, and how CBD specifically can help.

What is long haulers syndrome?

Long hauler syndrome is a condition distinguished by several chronic symptoms after a COVID-19 infection. These long-term symptoms show up after the initial infection, and may last for weeks, months, or even a year. In rare cases, it can last longer than that. This condition has been dubbed “long haulers” by the medical community. There is a mix of cases that are shown to be mild or severe, the severity affecting people differently. Unfortunately, long hauler syndrome is quite common. While the majority of individuals who acquire COVID-19 experience mild symptoms with relief from most of their symptoms in about two weeks, data shows that approximately 1 in 13 adults in the U.S., or roughly 7.5%, will have to deal with long COVID symptoms. Regardless of how healthy or unhealthy someone is, they are susceptible to long haulers, though there are ways to help with managing and recovering from the condition.

Symptoms:

The CDC lists the symptoms of long COVID as:

Tiredness or fatigue, Difficulty thinking or concentrating (sometimes referred to as “brain fog”), Headache, Loss of smell or taste, Dizziness on standing, Fast-beating or pounding heart (also known as heart palpitations), Chest pain, Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, Cough, Joint or muscle pain, Depression or anxiety, Fever, & Symptoms that get worse after physical or mental activities.

CBD & how it can help:

For Covid prevention, it’s actually recommended to use a product with CBD-A AND CBG-A (we have an additional article going into further detail on the topic). https://www.ahealthysolutionwellness.com/cbda-and-cbga-what-are-they/

Four proteins are known to be altered by COVID. The first protein is called ACE2. ACE2 is actually the primary target of the COVID virus. The virus finds the ACE2 protein floating on the surface of a cell and binds it to it in order to enter the cell. Once inside, the virus begins to replicate itself using the cell’s own genetic machinery.

The second protein affected by COVID is the cytokine Interleukin-6 (IL-6). IL-6 is an important pro-inflammatory cytokine that is needed during the initial inflammatory reaction by the body following assault by the virus.

A third protein, transmembrane serine protease (TSP), can activate COVID; its level is elevated in long-haulers.

The fourth protein affected in COVID long-haulers is called NRP1. NRP1 plays an important role in COVID infection in humans by assisting the virus’ actions. Blocking the NRP1 interaction with the virus reduces its infectivity. A recent investigation targeted the proteins ACE2, IL-6, TSP, and NRP1 that are known to be damaged or upregulated by COVID. Two different molecules found in the cannabis plant, cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabivarin (CVN), were investigated for potential use in long-hauler COVID patients. Using many different sophisticated molecular docking and simulation studies, scientists found that CBD and CVN can efficiently bind to these proteins and downregulate them.

Regardless of how you would like to go about your treatment plan, we always recommend speaking to a health care specialist if you feel you have any serious/persistent symptoms.

Ibuprofen & CBD. How are they similar and how they are different

We all have aches and pains that happen throughout our lives that can be anything from a mild inconvenience to chronic pains. With this, we want to know what the best solution is to these pains. In this article, we will talk about the well-known Ibuprofen and CBD. We will be seeing the benefits of each one, and how they can help with inflammation and pain.

What is Ibuprofen:

Ibuprofen is a common, over the counter medication that is used to treat pain and inflammation. It is a nonsteroidal inflammatory medication. Ibuprofen works by blocking prostaglandin, a specific type of hormone. Unlike other hormones, prostaglandins form through a chemical reaction at the point they’re required. Most specifically, they form in a site with an infection or tissue damage, leading to inflammation, pain, or even fever. Ibuprofen restricts the production of enzymes by cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), resulting in decreased prostaglandin production when you’re injured. This will help lower inflammation and pain. But it’s recommended not to take more than the recommended dose. This is because it can cause serious side effects when taken in excess. Including heartburn, high blood pressure, dizziness, stomach bleeding, heart attack, stroke, etc

What is CBD?

While generally considered safe, CBD may cause drowsiness, faintness, nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth, and, in very rare instances, damage to the liver. While these side effects are possible, they are not usually common in most people. Though it’s recommended to be careful using CBD oil specifically with other medications. This is normally only an issue while taking a tincture due to that going through your blood stream instead of through the stomach or skin. This is because the CBD can up the dose of the medication, which can be dangerous for heart medication or blood pressure medications. This can be avoided by taking your pharmaceuticals and CBD two hours apart from each other, so they do not interact.

Can they be used together?

As you can see, both ibuprofen and CBD can help combat pain and inflammation. However, unlike CBD, which can be taken daily as part of your daily supplements, ibuprofen should not exceed ten days or as advised by the doctor. Using both at the same time can help you with your symptoms, it’s recommended that if you take both, take them in smaller doses so they work together well. Both CBD and ibuprofen are anti-inflammatory compounds and pain relievers. Although there have been no reported interactions between ibuprofen and CBD, CBD may affect the efficacy of the latter when taken at the same time, especially in large doses.

We always recommend speaking with your doctor or a specialist if you ever have any concerns on CBD or other medications.

What can cause high blood pressure? It depends on the person, their lifestyle habits, or environment around them. Here’s a list of things that can exacerbate high blood pressure: A sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, stress, age (usually 50+), side effect of some medications (such as birth control pills), pre-existing medical conditions, high salt intake, smoking, being overweight, lack of physical activity, too much alcohol consumption, & a family history may increase the risk for primary hypertension. High blood pressure increases the risk of stroke from 25% to 50%, so maintaining normal blood pressure is key when it comes to overall health, and certain pharmaceutical interventions and natural strategies, such as prescription medications, diet, and exercise, may help individuals maintain stable levels.

Blood pressure is defined as the pressure of blood against the walls of the arteries. While it’s normal for blood pressure rates to rise and fall over the course of a day, consistently high blood pressure levels are an issue.

There are two kinds of hypertension:
Primary hypertension is the most common. It develops gradually with no discernible cause, but it may be linked to genetics, physical changes in the body, or high body weight.

Secondary hypertension comes on quickly and can be more serious. It has a number of causes, including kidney disease, congenital heart defects, thyroid issues, alcohol consumption, and certain medications and stimulants, like cocaine and amphetamines.

So, how can CBD help? And what is it? CBD, or Cannabidiol, is one of the many active compounds found in the cannabis plant. Tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC, is another active compound and the most well-known, thanks to its psychoactive properties, this compound being the one that gets you “high.” Luckily, CBD is nonpsychoactive and has many of the same medical benefits as THC. This allows you to take advantage of the therapeutic benefits without leaving you with the inebriated feeling that often goes hand in hand with THC. There has also been research that has shown that CBD is a very powerful painkiller and has anti-inflammatory properties that help make internal and external pain much more manageable. What’s also nice about this compound is that it is not addictive and very safe for you to take. Even if you take too much, at worst you will have a headache or diarrhea.

Since stress and inflammation are two of the most common causes for high blood pressure, being able to lower that is crucial for helping you stay healthy.

When dealing with inflammation, you might typically turn to medications like ibuprofen and aspirin. But long-term use of these non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can produce negative side effects, including kidney disease and peptic ulcers. But when using CBD, it helps lower your symptoms from a deeper level. CBD helps by interacting with your brain’s endocannabinoid system. The
endocannabinoid system (ECS) in the human body produces and responds to cannabinoids, which play a key role in healthy body function and inflammation reduction. The cannabis plant produces phytocannabinoids like CBD, which are similar to the endocannabinoids produced by the human body; both types of cannabinoids interact with the ECS. Two cannabinoid receptors, type 1 (CB1) and type 2 (CB2), are the most significant when it comes to CBD. CB1 receptors are found primarily in the brain while CB2 receptors are located throughout the body and central nervous system. CB2 receptors help regulate the immune system, and in doing so, regulate inflammatory responses. In fact, chronic inflammation has been shown to play a significant role in the development and progression of many diseases, indicating that normal CB2 function is not only crucial for reducing inflammation, but also for staying generally healthy. CBD has been found to bind to some CB2 receptors, but it mainly exerts its effects through indirect activation of non-cannabinoid receptors. CBD acts on these receptors to target
mechanisms and processes in the body that cause inflammation. Cytokines, for example, are small proteins released by immune cells when the body is under some type of stress. Certain cytokines are involved in the initiation and continuation of inflammation. CBD oil has been shown to disrupt this immune response, preventing inflammation from occurring in the first place. Another way CBD oil is known to fight inflammation is in relation to the neurotransmitter adenosine. CBD acts as an adenosine reuptake inhibitor, meaning it helps to increase the amount of adenosine in the brain, which in turn impacts adenosine receptors.

This can go hand in hand with how our ECS reacts with stress. Stress is a normal reaction to demanding or threatening situations in life. Our bodies have psychological and physical reactions for dealing with stress, by releasing hormones that raise your heart rate and raise your blood pressure. When the stressful situation ends, your body is meant to return to a normal, relaxed state. Unfortunately, the nonstop complications of modern life mean that some people’s panic responses aren’t as likely to slow down or stop. When stress levels don’t ease, chronic stress can begin to cause health problems. The ECS manages many physiological and pathological processes necessary for human life. These include mood regulation, stress management, memory formation and retention, appetite, pain, and inflammation. The system functions through a body-wide network of receptors and chemical messengers. Both sets of endocannabinoid molecules are in a constant state of flux, activating and deactivating physiological responses throughout the body.

When it comes to the medicinal properties of CBD, there are different ways to take it. We usually recommend a CBD tincture, so it can help you throughout the entire body and through your blood stream. CBD oil, also known as tincture, is another good method to ingest CBD. Tincture can help with many conditions and overall care. What makes the oil so special is that it is much stronger than the gummies and stays in your body much longer due to going through your bloodstream (via under the tongue.) We recommend taking doses in the morning and night because the oil stays in your body for about 12 hours at a time. So, by taking it both times of the day, you get full 24-hour coverage. But with this comes higher risk. CBD (in a tincture form) can also interact with other medications you’re taking, such as blood thinners. So, we always recommend taking CBD tincture and your medications about 2 hours apart from each other, so they don’t interact. This is an issue because CBD can raise the dosing of these medications in your body, which can be dangerous. But don’t fret! We have professionals on staff along with a nurse who are able to help dose you safely if you want to give it a try.

While CBD can help reduce high blood pressure, we still recommend consulting your doctor to make sure you get the care you need in addition to CBD consumption.

Delta-8 and Delta-9 are fairly new compounds in the CBD world. From a biological standpoint, Delta-8 and Delta-9 differ mostly due to the location of a double bind in their molecular chain. Delta-8 is a minor cannabinoid in hemp and cannabis plants, meaning it is found less abundantly than major cannabinoids like CBD or Delta-9. Though research containing cannabinoids in general is still fairly new but, we do
know some major factors that affect how these two variants of THC can impact users. Structure-wise, Delta-8 shares more in common with Delta-9 than it does with CBD. Although CBD is the second most abundant cannabinoid in the cannabis plant, it doesn’t have the same effect on the brain’s CB1 and CB2 as its THC equivalents.

Delta-8 is a significant cannabinoid, mainly thanks to its ability to serve as a more relaxed and efficient alternative for Delta-9. Though it is a major cannabinoid that can be found in abundance in cannabis, extraction is usually fairly cheap and simple as a result. It tends to be derived from marijuana plants specifically. While there is no denying that Delta-9 is a potent compound, being about twice as strong, not to mention an effective and natural healer for those suffering from a multitude of conditions and medical issues, it also brings with it quite a few undesirable side effects. Paranoia and anxiety often top the list of unfavorable side effects linked with traditional marijuana, along with sleep issues and addiction with longer-term use. Delta-8 doesn’t appear to have many of these harmful effects, at least not nearly to the same extent as Delta-9. This makes it a top choice for those seeking similar relaxational properties and euphoric effects to Delta-9, but with far less of the unpleasant mental side effects. Delta- 8 may very well help with sleep in some users. A consistent, regular routine with the right amount will play a major factor.

As you probably know, marijuana is not considered legal on a federal level in the United States. The push for legality has been largely left up to each individual state. So far, 34 states have legalized it for medical or recreational use. The legal fate of Delta-9 has been directly affected as a result. Any amounts over 0.3% are not legal at a federal level, and the state level depends entirely on their local marijuana laws. However, Delta-8 is still officially legal on a federal level. That's because of the ambiguities of the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp manufacturing. There is nothing within the bill that forbids deriving Delta-8 from hemp and developing products with the compound.

The psychoactive nature of Delta-8 has urged a fair number of states that have banned Delta-8 and Delta-9. There are 15 states that do not allow the marketing of this product, while 6 other states are still pending on its legality. So while Delta 8 is more widespread at the moment than Delta-9, how long that will last has yet to be determined.

The choice between Delta 8 and Delta 9 ultimately comes down to your personal wants and needs. While they share a handful of similarities, there’s enough significant differences between them to set them apart. While Delta 9 might be considered the “classic” choice by some within the cannabis community, Delta 8 has been quickly gaining in popularity due to its milder effects and legal availability. In time it might even become the preferred form of THC for most users. Always consult a health care professional before trying any new medications. We provide free consultations and have a nurse on staff if you have any questions about your care any Delta-8/Delta-9 products.

We all get aches and pains; some people get it more often than others. But what do you do when that pain lasts longer than expected? Usually we take prescription medication, which can be what you need sometimes. But what if you are tired of the prescriptions or have been on them for what feels like forever? Well today, we are going to take a look at CBG and how it can help alleviate pain in your body. But before going into that, let us take a quick dive into what CBG is exactly.

Cannabigerol, or CBG, is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid typically most abundant in low-THC and high- CBD cannabis strains, including hemp. Like THC, CBG reacts with the cannabinoid receptors in the brain. CBG is the inspiration for other cannabinoids. While CBD has a relatively low affinity for cannabinoid receptors and interacts mostly with the endocannabinoid system on an indirect basis, CBG is thought to interact directly with the brain’s CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors. CBG works to fight inflammation, pain, nausea and works to slow the proliferation of cancer cells. CBG has been called ‘inactive’ when compared to THC, but it has slight similarity for CB1 receptors, approximately equal to that of CBD. Like CBD, it has painkilling and anti-inflammatory properties, indicating that there is scope for developing cannabinoid drugs that do not have the psychoactive properties of THC. Strains high in CBG will be beneficial treating conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, and Crohn’s disease. For Multiple Sclerosis, a 2014 study in mice said that CBG “has been shown to alleviate symptoms in a viral model of multiple sclerosis.” Remarkably, one of the few medical drugs that contains cannabinoids was approved as a treatment for neuropathic pain in patients with multiple sclerosis.

Now that we have a better idea of CBG, let’s examine how it can help with reducing pain. Inflammation is regularly a contributor or a symptom, and where there’s inflammation, there’s pain and other health problems. The most fascinating aspect of CBG is that it is a powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotectant. Amazingly, according to research, CBG has shown the ability to regulate the release of GABA –– a neurotransmitter that helps calm pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and panic disorders. In fact, CBG regulates GABA far greater than THC and CBD do, and scientists suggest that it may be used as a muscle relaxant for people with spasms. Though, as well as CBG can work, it, like many other cannabinoids, work best when paired with CBD. Like CBD, CBG is completely non-psychoactive. So, it will not get you “high,” but will rather offer your body a much more calming effect.

There is no denying that high-quality CBG products, especially when combined with quality CBD, may be the answer you’re seeking. As with any natural supplement, CBG and CBD are not “cure-all” molecules, and should not be used to diagnose, treat, or cure health conditions and diseases. So, we understand why you may be hesitant to try it because of that, but it’s at least worth trying if you want to get off prescription medications and want to try a more natural solution.

Sciatica is described as pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which runs down one or both legs from the lower back. It is usually caused when a herniated disk or bone spur in the spine presses on the nerve. Pain originates in the spine and radiates down the back of the leg. Sciatica typically affects only one side of the body. Symptoms of Sciatica include difficulty walking, muscle weakness, leg numbness, feeling of pins and needles, burning sensations, or foot numbness. Treatments for Sciatica depend on pain severity. Ice packs and physical therapy are the most common treatments.

However, the more severe the condition is the more treatments are needed. Analgesic, muscle relaxers, steroids, and nerve pain medications are also recommended for those who have a more severe form of Sciatica. Sometimes, an epidural steroid injection is needed to treat Sciatica as well.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non- psychoactive compound derived from the cannabis plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. CBD is an anti-inflammatory, and CBD can reduce swelling and inflammation, thereby reducing pain. Taking CBD triggers your natural endocannabinoid system (ECS) through two types of receptors, CB1 and CB2. It signals your body’s organs and various systems to restore themselves into balance. In this way, it reduces the “over-reaction” of your body which is causing it to trigger pain and inflammation.

Using a topical on the skin directly for short-term, focused relief is one recommended way to help combat Sciatica pain. Another way Sciatica pain can be combated would be by using any other method to ingest CBD on a daily or twice- daily basis to ensure it stays in your bloodstream to do its work almost all the time.

Our AHS 1500-5000mg creams can help with any joint or muscle pain you may be having. A higher milligram cream is recommended for more severe pain. Along with the creams, our AHS full spectrum 3000mg tincture can be taken sublingually twice a day to help with any inflammation within the body. The recommended dose is based off how severe your pain may be.

Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions you may have regarding CBD.

An estimated 1 in 4 dogs are affected by arthritis in the United States. The term “arthritis” is an umbrella term used to refer a group of over 100 diseases causing joint degeneration and pain. All forms of arthritis cause chronic inflammation of the joints, which causes pain and stiffness in the affected areas.Canine arthritis is characterized by limping, stiffness, slowness when getting up or laying down, reluctance to go on walks, reluctance or inability to jump, reduced mobility, excessive panting and sleeping more than usual.

Treatment for pets with arthritis include hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, steroid injections, surgery and prescribed medications. Most vets will prescribe your dog pain killers and/or anti-inflammatories to help combat the pain and inflammation caused by arthritis. Some of the most common medications prescribed to dogs with arthritis are Metacam and Rimadyl, two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Each prescribed medication contains negative side effects that include black or bloody stools, diarrhea, increased or decreasedactivity, seizures, aggression, skin irritation, stomach ulcers, weight loss, increased water consumption, changes to urine, loss of appetite, vomiting, abdominal pain, dehydration, liver damage, kidney damage and in some cases death.

CBD is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. Studies have shown that CBD may have powerful pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects, making it a very viable option for treating the symptoms of canine arthritis. When your pet uses CBD, it interacts with their endocannabinoid system (ECS).

All mammals have this system in their bodies, and it is predominantly made up of 2 types of cannabinoid receptors (known as CB1 and CB2). These receptors are found not only in the brain, but in other places within the body and by interacting with these receptors, the beneficial effects of CBD are produced. Numerous studies on CBD have shown that the compound may help reduce a wide variety of inflammation in organs like the pancreas, lungs, brain and most importantly, the joints.

There are a few CBD products that could help your canine companion with their arthritis. If the pain level is 1-5 small dogs can take Bailey’s 300mg Tincture and larger breeds can take Bailey’s 600mg Tincture.

If the pain level is 6-10 your pet can take our AHS 500mg Pet Tincture. CBD infused dog treats in 3-5 mg can also help with the pain and inflammation caused by arthritis.

Always consult your veterinarian before starting your furry friend on a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) affects approximately 3.5 percent of U.S. adults and women are twice as likely as men to have PTSD. An estimated one in 11 people will be diagnosed with the disorder in their lifetime. Post-traumatic stress disorder is a condition of persistent mental and emotional stress caused by injury or severe psychological shock.

PTSD is characterized by disturbance of sleep, constant vivid recall of the traumatic experience and dulled responses to others and the outside world. Treatment for PTSD includes different types of trauma-focused psychotherapy like cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, as well as prescribed medications. Medications used to treat PTSD include Sertraline, Fluoxetine and Paroxetine.

Each prescribed medication contains negative side effects that include drowsiness, insomnia, indigestion, nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, sweating, tremors, headache, vision changes, anxiety, pain, weakness, flu symptoms and sexual problems.

CBD may help alleviate symptoms for those suffering with PTSD by improving the endocannabinoid system’s (ECS) mediation of essential functions including memory consolidation and retrieval. By activating CB1 and CB2 receptors located throughout this core system, cannabinoids may prompt the system to produce neurotransmitters that helps promote happiness, pleasure and memory.

These cannabinoids play a critical role in assisting PTSD cases by preventing the retrieval of the underlying trauma, which helps in preventing traumatic memories and nightmares, while also helping attain emotional wellbeing without the negative side effects of prescribed medications.

Our AHS 1500mg tincture can be taken sublingually and is perfect for improving symptoms of PTSD. Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a chemical compound thought to possess therapeutic effects and is often used to help alleviate different types of pain. CBD suppositories are pill-sized and are intended to be inserted into the vagina or rectum to be dissolved.

Research shows that CBD suppositories may help improve a plethora of conditions and ailments. When CBD suppositories are inserted rectally it may improve symptoms of Hemorrhoid inflammation, Irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease and different types of cancer such as rectal, prostate and colon cancer.

When CBD suppositories are inserted vaginally it may improve symptoms of severe period cramps, endometriosis, vaginal dryness, pelvic floor dysfunction and vaginal/cervical cancer. When CBD suppositories are used, they may help improve symptoms locally and are not believed to enter the blood stream.

The pelvic region houses a matrix of nerves that travel to the legs, up the spine, and reaches the colon which contains cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2). Administration of CBD through suppositories may activate the cannabinoid receptors, which could be beneficial for local conditions.

Even if only affective locally rather than systematically, suppositories may offer an alternative to those suffering from conditions that render them unable to ingest CBD orally.

Our AHS 100mg CBD suppositories may help alleviate symptoms of different rectal and vaginal conditions including, different types of cancers. Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.
