There are many ways to ingest CBD, each way has their own benefits. Such as gummies and tincture. These two are the most popular ways to consume CBD due to how easily accessible these options are. Each one has a unique use, and today we will be discussing what each one would be used for, and which one would be best for you!

Please know that at AHS, all of the staff tests the products before they are put on to our shelves to make ensure it works as intended and is safe to consume. Employees are able to give recommendations based on their own experience or the experience of other clients who have also taken the products.

Gummies

Gummies are a tasty way to get your daily dose of CBD! But what are the exact benefits of taking it in this form? Well, let’s use our SoCal Yummy Gummies as an example. They are used for anxiety, stress, depression, mood balance, sleep, etc. With gummies, they have a set dosing, such as 25mg per gummy and 750mg for a whole container, this allows you to have a very exact knowledge of your dosing. Gummies can be taken any time of day when you’re feeling an onset of symptoms. For example, if you had anxiety and you felt the heart palpitations and overwhelming stress, you would be able to take a gummy and feel relief in about 30-45 minutes. Depending on the level of your symptoms/condition, this would determine the gummy that would be recommended and the dosing. You feel the relief of this product for about 4-6 hours, but this can depend on the person.

Tincture

CBD oil, also known as tincture, is another good method to ingest CBD. Tincture can help with many conditions and overall care. This would be taken as follows: you would fill the dropper to your recommended dosing (the droppers we carry have markers that show how much you are taking, a full dropper being 1ML), put said amount under your tongue for 30 seconds, and swallow. The flavors are more limited, though what we have is a minty flavor that is easy on the tastebuds. What makes the oil so special is that it is much stronger than the gummies and stay in your body much longer due to going through your bloodstream (via under the tongue.) We carry bottles that contain 750mg, 1500mg,
2000mg, and 3000mg. The dosing can look like this: 50mg in the morning and 25mg at night, we do morning and night because the oil stays in your body for about 12 hours at a time. So, with taking it both times of the day, you get a full 24-hour coverage. But with this comes higher risk. If clients are taking medications, such as blood pressure or heart medication, we recommend spacing them two hours a part, so they don’t interact. This is an issue because the CBD can raise the dosing of these medications in your body, which can be dangerous. But don’t fret! We have professionals on staff along with a nurse who are able to help dose you safely if you want to give it a try.

Depending on your condition, there is always a product for you! At AHS, we provide free consultations if you have any questions about your condition or if you want recommendations. We provide products for sleep, anxiety, stress, topical pains, internal pain, and more!

I’m sure a lot of us out there have pets. Cats, dogs, birds, you name it. We love our pets, and they mean a lot to us and can feel like family. Sometimes they can have aches and pains, and even anxiety, just like we do. So, what do you do for them in situations where they are extremely anxious and need some relief? What if they are having medical problems and you don’t want to overload their system with different medications? At AHS, we are able to provide potential solutions for your pets. In this blog, we will be discussing CBD oil for dogs, and how it can benefit them and give them a better quality of life.

Let’s first talk about what exactly CBD is. CBD, also known as Cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis. Today, the medicinal properties of CBD are being tested by scientists and doctors all around the world and being shown to be very beneficial to both people and animals alike. CBD is a safe and non-addictive substance used to help with internal and external problems alike. CBD is closely related to another important medically active phytocannabinoid: THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the compound that causes a psychoactive effect that cannabis is famous for. Both CBD and THC have significant therapeutic attributes. Though CBD does not make a person feel “high” or intoxicated. That’s because CBD and THC act in different ways on different receptors in the brain and body. CBD can actually lessen or neutralize the psychoactive effects of THC, depending on how much of each compound is consumed. Many people want the health benefits of cannabis without the high, or with less of a high. What also makes this appealing is that, like for people, your dog will not get any form of high from the CBD, making it safe for them to consume. So, knowing what CBD is, we can talk more about how it can benefit your dog. The CBD oil is best ingested through their mouths and can be given to them through their food. Like tinctures/oil for humans, the oil for dogs will stay in their system for about 12 hours and works best when taken morning and night. This is so it can stay in their system all day and night. The oil can help with many different conditions.

Anxiety and Stress
Let’s start with anxiety and stress, and how the CBD helps with it. CBD has been extensively studied for its effect on stress and anxiety. In humans and animals alike, it’s been found to reduce anxiety in both healthy beings and those with anxiety disorders and can be effective in those with panic disorders and PTSD. This is helpful for dogs with higher levels of anxiety or are just prone to stress responses. It can help with cases anywhere from generalized anxiety to PTSD that can feel challenging to live with. This is due to how CBD connects to the brain and its receptors. When it connects to the brain, it slows the responses to panic and anxiety, allowing the dog to feel safer and more comfortable with their surroundings.

Seizures
CBD has also been shown to treat epilepsy and seizures. It’s estimated that about 5% of dogs suffer from seizures, and that can be scary for both the dog and the owner to experience. Most dogs with these conditions are on medications that, while able to help the conditions, can also be extremely harmful to the dog’s liver and other internal organs. And sometimes the medications don’t even do enough to combat said conditions. CBD has been shown to be effective in drug-resistant epilepsy. In one study, 83% of patients with drug resistant epilepsy saw a noticeable improvement within 4 -5 months of taking CBD on a routine schedule. In another study that was done for people that can apply for how well CBD works, 84% of children with treatment-resistant epilepsy who had been taking CBD had a reduction in
the frequency of seizures.

Pain and Inflammation
CBD is also a strong pain reliever in the body. So as mentioned before, CBD can connect to the brain’s receptors and slow down/lessen a response such as anxiety. This can also apply for pain! Scientists are considering CBD as a new class of medication as a treatment of chronic pain since the cannabinoids in CBD work so well for managing pain. Studies show that CBD is highly effective for a few different conditions. An example being decreasing pain, including neuropathy and nerve-related pain, this generally applies more to older dogs. And decreasing inflammation in the body, this can include internal (such as in the organs) or external (such as on the skin.) Animal studies show that CBD is effective is counteracting colitis (IBD) and restoring normal gut motility in IBD. CBD can also support Cardiovascular health and heart health. Studies show it can reduce the damage from impaired blood vessels and abnormal heart rates, protect blood vessels from damage and dilate the arteries, and reduce heart rate and blood pressure associated with stress and anxiety.

Arthritis
Along with CBD being good for pain and inflammation, that ties into how it can help with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Dogs are no different when it comes to the challenges that arise from aging. Joint problems especially become common in older dogs, which can lead to pain and having trouble with movement. Arthritis is the swelling and tenderness of one or more joints. The main symptoms of arthritis are joint pain and stiffness, which typically worsen with age. The most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. This can cause your dog to have trouble moving, they usually walk stiffly, and have inflammation and swelling in their joints. Just like people, dogs have cartilage at the ends of their bones within the joints that serve to cushion the impact between the bones as they move around. As dogs get older, this cartilage can erode and weaken, which can lead to inflammation and pain.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip dysplasia can affect any dog, but it’s more common in bigger breeds and is related to a mix of environmental and dietary factors. The health of dog hips is closely linked with the amount and type of exercise a dog gets in their lifetime. While often diagnosed with age, dysplasia is not necessarily limited to older dogs. The early stages of dysplasia can usually be traced to irregular growth rates in puppyhood. Hip dysplasia is usually genetic and begin as a puppy’s muscle mass and hormones increase during growth spurts. The hip is a ball and socket joint, which should move smoothly with a sufficient level of mobility. Dysplasia occurs when space opens up between the ball at the end of the femur and the socket of the hip. In dogs suffering dysplasia, the joint will be loose or underdeveloped, and the two elements will begin to grind against each other. Usually, owners will turn to surgeries or medications as a go to treatment, but luckily, CBD oil may become your new solution. CBD oil is more natural in its components and may be a safer option. Pet owners who are nervous about giving their pets medication often turn to natural alternatives. In the case of arthritis, CBD oil may also be a healthy solution for both human and dogs.

In both cases, CBD is able to reduce the amount of inflammation and pain felt in the body, giving your pet a better quality of life. Adding CBD to your pet’s treatment plan may be valuable with minimal risk to your pet. Several studies have shown that cannabidiol has powerful anti-inflammatory effects, both when taken orally or when applied topically on the skin. One study showed that CBD is so effective against the inflammation caused by osteoarthritis that it may even slow the progression of this degenerative disease by preventing the nerve damage caused by inflammation!

Depending on how you want to give care to your dog, why not give CBD a try? At AHS, we have specialists and a nurse on staff who can answer any questions you may have about CBD or treatment plans for your furry companion.

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is one of over 100 chemical compounds known as cannabinoids found in the Cannabis sativa plant. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis which causes the sensation of being “high” that’s often associated with marijuana. However, unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive. This quality makes CBD an appealing option for those who are looking for relief from pain and other symptoms without the mind-altering effects of marijuana or certain pharmaceutical drugs.

How Does it Work?

CBD and THC interact with our bodies in a variety of ways. One of them is by mimicking the effects of the compounds in our bodies called endogenous cannabinoids. These cannabinoids are part of what scientists refer to as the endocannabinoid system. This system plays a crucial role in regulating a broad range of physiological processes that affect how we experience pain, stress, sleep, and more.

CBD Benefits

This fascinating plant is gaining tremendous momentum in the health and wellness world since many people are seeking

alternatives to pharmaceuticals with harsh side effects. Extensive scientific research highlights CBD’s potential as a way to relieve a wide range of symptoms, conditions, and ailments such as, but not limited to:

Autoimmune diseases (inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis,lupus)

Neurological conditions (Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke)

Metabolic syndrome (diabetes, obesity)

Mental health conditions (anxiety, depression, PTSD)

Gut disorders (colitis, Crohn’s)

Sleep problems

Chronic pain

Best Ways to Take CBD

Ingest It Orally

If you’ve never taken CBD before, ingesting it is an easy place to start. Here are some ways you can ingest it:

Tincture, also known as CBD Generally, it’s consumed it by placing it under your tongue and holding it there for up to a minute. Some people use it in their food or add a few drops to their favorite smoothie recipe. It’s also easy to adjust your dose by adding or subtracting a few drops, and it might work a little faster

Capsules or soft You’re probably familiar with and maybe already using capsules and pills, so taking CBD this way won’t feel too different. Plus, monitoring dosage is easy with capsules since they come in pre-measured sizes. Capsules can take 45 minutes or longer to work themselves into your system and may last for several hours

Chewable gummies: These small, tasty, tidbits can be found in

a variety of flavors and sizes yet still pack a CBD punch. Gummies are a perfect way to combat stress, anxiety, sleep, and sometimes nausea. This route can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes to kick in

Topical Application

If you are mostly looking to try CBD for muscle aches and pains, a topical application (the one you put on your body, not in your mouth) can be a good option. Topical products can be applied using different methods such as:

Topical creams: used for acute/chronic pain, muscle aches, joint pain, neuropathy, and more

Topical patches are a discreet way to use They may help with pain, inflammation, stress, and anxiety

In Conclusion

Hopefully, you now feel more informed about the potential CBD benefits to your life, even if it’s just taking CBD as a daily supplement to keep your body and mind in optimum health.

Although CBD is still being researched, we still have a long way to go until it receives the recognition it deserves.

Roughly 60 million Americans are affected by insomnia each year and the condition appears to be more common in women and people over the age of 65. Insomnia is a sleep disorder that is characterized by difficulty falling and/or staying asleep.

Symptoms of Insomnia include daytime sleepiness, lack of concentration, slowness in activity, depression, headache and irritability. Treatment for insomnia includes cognitive behavioral therapy, light therapy and prescribed medications.

Medications used to treat insomnia include Zolpidem, Temazepam, Lorazepam, Eszopiclone, Trazodone, Diphenhydramine, Doxylamine, Mirtazapine and Amitriptyline. Each prescribed medication contains negative side effects that include dizziness, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, headache, muscle pain, amnesia, numbness, blurred vision, depression, irritability, confusion, aggression, hallucinations, skin rash, flu symptoms, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, weight gain and breast swelling.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. Research shows that CBD may help alleviate insomnia without the negative side effects of prescribed medications. CBD may affect sleep directly by interacting with receptors in the brain that govern the body’s daily sleep/wake cycles. CBD may also help alleviate insomnia by combating the causes of sleeplessness.

A common cause of insomnia is anxiety and stress. CBD helps regulate cortisol, a stress hormone, which has a significant impact on sleep cycles. Studies found that CBD is beneficial for anxiety-related disorders and an increase in sleep quality. For those who struggle with sleeplessness due to chronic or acute pain, CBD offers a natural alternative to pharmaceutical pain relievers.

CBD helps reduce pain-induced sleeplessness by working on the symptoms themselves rather than providing a sedative effect like many sleep-aids.

Our AHS 1500mg Tincture can be taken sublingually along with Kurativ 1000mg CBD/CBD Gummies (25mg each) to help alleviate insomnia.

Dosing will depend on your level of insomnia, level 3-6 should take the 25mg gummies, level 7-8 should take the 1500mg tincture and level 9-10 should take both.

Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new treatment.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions regarding CBD.

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults age 18 and older. According to Gallup & #39;s 2019 data on emotional states, 55% Americans experience stress during the day. Everyone experiences stress and anxiety at one time or another.

The difference between them is that stress is a response to a threat in a situation and anxiety is a reaction to the stress. Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous.

Anxiety is an intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Fast heart rate rapid breathing, sweating, and feeling tired often occur. Treatment for persistent stress and anxiety include psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, and prescribed medications.

Medications used to treat anxiety and stress include Sertraline, Escitalopram, Fluoxetine, Buspirone, Venlafaxine, Duloxetine, Diazepam, Lorazepam, Pregabalin, Alprazolam and Clonazepam. Each prescribed medication contains negative side effects that include dizziness, insomnia, nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, sweating, tremors, sexual problems, headaches, constipation, vison changes, anxiety, weakness, vomiting, depression, hallucinations, aggression and skin rash.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects. Studies show that CBD may be effective in alleviating anxiety and could help reduce stress without the negative side effects of prescribed medications. Researchers concluded that endocannabinoids influence
stress and emotion responses because there are cannabinoid receptors in the brain.

Studies currently suggest that CBD counters anxiety by stimulating neurotransmitter systems and neural regeneration. CBD specifically binds to 5-HT1A which is thought to have the strongest role in anxiety disorders. Your body naturally produces cannabinoids, which are used throughout your body and brain in the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).

This system can become dysregulated under chronic stress. However, CBD could help restore balance to the ECS by
preventing overstimulation of your CB1 receptors and by boosting your body’s production of endocannabinoids.

If your anxiety levels are at a & lt;1/5 our AHS 1500mg Tincture can be taken sublingually along with the SoCal 300mg Gummies.

If your anxiety levels are at a & gt;5/10 you can take the Miller Healer 2000mg tincture sublingually along with the Kurativ 1000mg CBD & CBG Gummies.

Always consult your primary care physician before starting a new regimen.

Our team of specialists are always available to provide you with education and assist you with any questions you may have regarding CBD.

One of the best ways to experience the effects of CBD is topically, specifically through a CBD infused massage. Cannabidiol(CBD) is a compound derived from the hemp plant known for its potential therapeutic effects.

CBD infused topicals include creams, salves, oils and patches. Research shows that CBD may help alleviate a plethora of conditions including issues such as aches and pains associated with muscle and joint soreness as well as inflammation.

CBD responds to receptors found in the skin and through those receptors, it sends messages through your nervous system that help bring the body back to equilibrium. The CBD receptors (known as CB2) are part of the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is the physiological system that helps the homeostatic functions within the central nervous system.

This includes maintenance of bodily functions, pain, inflammation, and the immune system.CB2 receptors are found in nerve and immune cells in just about every organ. CBD binds to CB2 receptors as well as TRPV1 receptors. Damaged tissues sensitize TRPV1 to its chemical and physical stimuli.

Adding massage further benefits the stimulation of TRPV1 activity and has a positive influence on the CB2 receptors, which helps alleviate inflammation and pain. People seek CBD massages to relax, escape stress and alleviate pain.

For athletes, CBD also has the reputation for accelerating the recovery and healing process of injured connective tissue. Overall, CBD massages are just another way to support your wellness lifestyle.

Our CBD infused massages are perfect for alleviating muscle and joint pain as well as inflammation and stress.

The importance of memory goes beyond simply remembering what we wore last Tuesday but remembering important milestones in our lives. As we age, we tend to start forgetting more than usual which can be very frustrating and even worrisome.

Memory is the faculty of the brain by which data or information is encoded, stored, and retrieved when needed. It is the retention of information over time for the purpose of influencing future action. There are many different reasons why we could be experiencing memory loss. Possible causes include medications, minor head trauma or injury, lack of sleep, emotional disorders, alcoholism, Vit B-12 deficiency, hypothyroidism, and possibly brain disease.

Some common signs or symptoms associated with memory loss include forgetfulness, difficulty finding the right words, changes in mood, confusion, a failing sense of direction, and difficulty completing normal tasks. There are two common types of medication being used cholinesterase inhibitors and memantine which help to treat cognitive symptoms like memory loss and confusion. However, with any medications side effects always come into mind.

The frustration of dealing with harsh side effects along with the long-term use complications on the body can be overwhelming. Unlike CBD which does not cause side effects or long-term use complications. CBD is an antioxidant, which helps reduce the problems associated with oxygen stress. In clinical trials, CBD has shown the ability to reverse and even prevent the development of Alzheimer’s negative impact. CBD produce effects in the body by attaching to certain receptors.

The CB1 receptors are present throughout the body, but many are in the brain. The CB1 receptors in the brain deal with coordination and movement, pain, emotions, and mood, thinking, appetite, and memories. At AHS our tinctures have shown promise by improving focus and memory along with its ability to alleviate symptoms such as Chronic pain, inflammation, anxiety, and insomnia.

Our mission is to provide education so you feel comfortable in the products you are using.

Many people struggle with migraines, the sudden onset of pain and inability to function for several hours can take a toll on anyone. Migraines are a recurring type of headache. They cause moderate to severe pain that is throbbing or pulsing. The pain is often on one side of your head.

You may also have other symptoms, such as nausea, weakness, light sensitivity, sound sensitivity. There are many factors that could be causing a migraine such as stress, anxiety, hormonal changes, bright or flashing lights, loud noises, strong smells, medications, overexertion, caffeine, and skipped meals. Researchers suggest that migraines might even be genetic. Statistics show that 12% of Americans get migraines.

They can affect anyone;however, womenare more susceptible to experiencing migraines. Common treatments for migraines include resting with your eyes closed in a quiet, darkened room and lots of fluids. Medications to help treat/prevent migraines could be prescribed however long-term use complications and side effects from the medication will cause people to take a more holistic alternative.

CBD has shown high success rates in relieving chronic pain, inflammation, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. The way CBD works in your body is it activates or inhibits other compounds in the endocannabinoid system. For example, CBD stops the body from absorbing anandamide, a compound associated with regulating pain. So, increased levels of anandamide in the bloodstream may reduce the amount of pain a person might experience.

CBD does not contain THC and is non-psychoactive meaning it will not get you high or cause you to test positive on a drug screening. CBD does not cause long term use complications which makes it a very safe and natural alternative. Depending on the severity of pain we recommend our tinctures, salve creams, or our headache roller. Our team of specialists are always available to help provide education and answer any questions you might have.

What is anxiety?
Anxiety is a normal and often healthy emotion. However, when a person regularly feels disproportionate
levels of anxiety, it might become a medical disorder. Anxiety disorder occurs when anxiety starts to
severely impact a person’s life. Rather than feeling anxious in response to actual danger, someone with
an anxiety disorder will experience the same symptoms in situations they perceive as dangerous.
Anxieties now revolve around work, money, family life, health, and other crucial issues that
demand a person’s attention without necessarily requiring the ‘fight-or-flight’ reaction. The
nervous feeling before an important life event or during a difficult situation is a natural echo of
the original ‘fight-or-flight’ reaction. It can still be essential to survival
Anxiety can come in different forms such as, Generalized anxiety disorder, excessive worry about
anything and everything, including worrying about worrying. Social anxiety disorder, anxiety in
social situations, often rooted in the fear of doing something wrong and being judged by others.
Panic disorder, repeated panic attacks and worry about future panic attacks. Agoraphobia,
anxiety about having a panic attack in certain situations and not being able to escape or to get
help. Specific phobias, intense fear of objects or situations (such as fear of dogs).

What is depression?
Depression is one of the most common mental disorders in the U.S. Depression (major depressive
disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think
and how you act. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once
enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease a person’s ability to
function at work and at home.
Being sad is not the same as having depression. In grief, painful feelings come in waves, often
intermixed with positive memories of the deceased. In major depression, mood and/or interest
(pleasure) are decreased for most of two weeks. Another example, during grief, self-esteem is
usually maintained. In major depression, feelings of worthlessness and self-loathing are
common.
Depression can affect anyone—even a person who appears to live in relatively ideal circumstances. The
disorder also comes in various forms as well. There is Persistent depressive disorder, depression for about
2 weeks and continuous episodes through life, Postpartum depression, “baby blues” when a woman
experiences after birth depression making it difficult to care for their child. Psychotic depression, a person
has depression plus some form of psychosis, such as false beliefs or hearing voices or hallucinating.
Seasonal effective disorder characterized by onset depression during winter months wanting to be left in
hibernation away from the outside world. These are just to name a few.
Signs and symptoms of severe depression are, but not limited to persistent sad, anxious, or
“empty” mood, feelings of hopelessness, or pessimism, irritability, feelings of guilt,
worthlessness, or helplessness, loss of interest or pleasure in hobbies and activities, decreased
energy or fatigue, moving or talking more slowly, feeling restless or having trouble sitting still or
even difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions. These are a few symptoms of
an individual dealing with depression.

Treatments for anxiety and depression
There are generally 2 forms of treatments that are given to patients with anxiety and depression disorder.
The first is Psychotherapy, works to replace negative and unproductive thought patterns with more
realistic and useful ones. These treatments focus on taking specific steps to overcome anxiety and
depression.
Then there is medications…
Most triggers of anxiety are due to 5-HT1A agonist: 5-HT1A is a subtype of the serotonin receptor, which
is important because anxiety and depression can sometimes be treated with medications that target the
serotonin system. This is the reasoning behind many drug companies who developed selective serotonin
reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) like Prozac and Zoloft. SSRIs work by blocking reabsorption of serotonin in the
brain, which increases availability of serotonin in the synaptic space. This helps brain cells transmit more
serotonin signals, which can reduce anxiety and boost mood in certain cases
While these drugs can be effective for many patients, some don’t respond favorably. Certain patients
don’t see much improvement, or they can’t tolerate the side effects. Moreover, tranquilizers like Valium
and Xanax can be highly addictive.

How can CBD help?
Studies have shown cannabidiol could reduce symptoms of social anxiety in people with social anxiety
disorder. Brain scans of participants revealed changes in blood flow to the regions of the brain linked to
feelings of anxiety.
Dysfunction of brain receptors can stem from low or high levels of serotonin, as well as from malfunctions
with their receptors. Serotonin has at least 14 different receptors, but CBD specifically binds to 5-HT1A
which has the strongest role in anxiety disorders. The anti-anxiety drug buspirone, which is a popular drug
used for anxiety treatment also binds to this particular receptor, which in return explains the anti-anxiety
effects of CBD on individuals exposed to stressful situations.
CBD can help restore balance to the endocannabinoid system by preventing overstimulation of your CB1
receptors and by boosting your body’s production of endocannabinoids. This equals homeostasis. When
we develop homeostasis within the body we are at a balanced state. This means no stress or worries and
our body can cope with the interference of the outside world as well. Even though chronic stress can
damage neurons and even shrink brains cells, certain areas of the brain are still capable of regeneration.
Throughout our lives we continue to form new neurons, make new connections, and continue to grow
our brains. CBD helps to boost this process. This means that CBD can help to counterbalance the brain
damage caused by chronic stress. When CBD is paired with a helpful anxiety program, you will find
yourself in a better state of living then you thought you could accomplish

Can a change in daily eating habits help me?
Absolutely! Nutrition affects our mood on many levels.
What we eat, especially foods that contain chemical additives and processed foods, affects our gut
environment. When we consider the connection between the brain and the gut, it’s important to know
that 90% of serotonin receptors are located in the gut. When the balance between the good and bad
bacteria is disrupted in the gut, this is when health issues such as anxiety and depression arise.
Based on what we eat daily can encourage our mood. We should be careful about using food as the
only treatment for mood. For example, fast food and fries may taste good and help you cope for
the moment, but it isn’t doing justice for your body as far as health benefits. You may find
yourself feeling fatigue or groggy after a heavy meal or wanting something healthy to change
that feeling. This is because your body wants foods that help increase positive mood levels.
Studies suggests that eating a healthy, balanced diet and avoiding inflammation-producing foods are
protective against depression.
